The Paraplufabriek in Nijmegen invited Brigitta van Weeren, Eva Olthof, Roos van Haaften and me to create an exhibition, titled How Can We Move?, around the themes of mobility and infrastructure. We came up with an installation in which the walls of the Paraplufabriek functioned as a central window to a drawn and projected panormanic map of the world according to worldwide highlights in mobility and transportation. The exhibition itself was also highly mobile: we worked and projected from a moveable cabin and adjusted the map every day. While one person was working in the exhibition space, the others were in the countryside taking photos that were directly sent to Nijmegen and incorporated in the artwork.
